The organist, Morris Comerie is responsible for the music for your special day.
The music you need to consider is:
- The Brides entrance and exit music known as the Processional and Recessional respectively.
- Two or three hymns depending on the size of the congregation.
- Your preferred music during the signing of the register.
- Any special requests to be played prior to the ceremony.
It is helpful if the Bride and Groom attend the church for a discussion with the organist before the order of service has being printed.This will help finalise your choice of music and hymns and as an opportunity for you to hear the sound of your music on the organ. A suggested time for this visit is 12.45 pm after the Sunday morning Service which starts at 11.30am, every Sunday in the Abbey.
